Do I need an existing Amazon account to work with Rankly?

No โ€” you don't need an existing account. If you're brand new to Amazon we can guide you through setting one up. If you already have an account, even better. Either way we'll take it from there and handle the advertising side completely.We work with both new and existing sellers
Do you create the Amazon Seller account, or do I?

You create the Seller account โ€” it's registered in your name, your business, and your bank details. We never own or control your account. Once it's set up, you simply add us as a user with advertising permissions and we handle the campaigns from there. Your account, your business โ€” we just run the ads.
How do you get access to my Amazon account?

Through Amazon's built-in user permission system. You go into your Seller Central settings and invite us as an advertising manager โ€” Amazon has a specific permission level for this that gives us access to campaigns only, nothing else. We can never touch your inventory, payments, or account settings. It's a fully secure process Amazon built specifically for agencies like us.
How fast can we get started?

Very fast. Once you sign up and give us access to your account, we typically have campaigns live within 48 hours. We don't do long onboarding calls or weeks of preparation โ€” we do our research, build the campaigns, and launch. You'll see your first data within days.48 hour launch guarantee
Do I need my product already listed on Amazon?

Yes โ€” your product needs to have an active Amazon listing before we can run ads. Amazon Sponsored Products advertising requires a live product page. If you don't have a listing yet we can point you in the right direction to get one created, and then we take over from there.
What information do you need from me to get started?

Just three things: access to your Amazon advertising account, your product ASIN or listing URL, and a brief description of your target customer. That's genuinely it. We handle all the research, keyword strategy, campaign architecture, and ad copy ourselves. You don't need to prepare anything elaborate.
Amazon Account Setup
Do I need FBA (Fulfilled by Amazon) or can I ship myself?

You can run ads with either FBA or FBM (Fulfilled by Merchant). However we strongly recommend FBA if you can manage it โ€” products fulfilled by Amazon automatically earn the Prime badge, which significantly increases conversion rates. Shoppers trust Prime and filter by it constantly. If you're already on FBA, your Prime badge is automatic and your ads will perform better because of it.
Do I need Brand Registry to work with Rankly?

No โ€” Brand Registry is not required to get started. Sponsored Products advertising (which is what we primarily use) is available to all sellers. That said, Brand Registry does unlock additional ad formats like Sponsored Brands and A+ content, which can further boost results. We'll let you know if and when it makes sense for your brand to pursue it.
Will my product automatically get the Prime badge?

If you're enrolled in FBA โ€” yes, automatically. Amazon handles fulfilment from their warehouses so Prime eligibility is instant. If you're not on FBA, you'd need to apply for Seller Fulfilled Prime separately, which has strict speed and performance requirements. FBA is by far the easier route and what most of our clients use.
What type of Amazon seller account do I need?

A Professional Seller account ($39.99/month) is required to run Amazon ads. The Individual plan does not have access to Sponsored Products advertising. If you're serious about growing on Amazon, the Professional account is essential and more than pays for itself once campaigns are running.
Can you help optimize my product listing too?

Yes โ€” listing optimization is included in our onboarding. Great ads with a weak listing is a wasted investment, so we review your title, bullet points, description, and images before launching. Campaigns & Strategy
What type of campaigns do you run?

We primarily run Amazon Sponsored Products โ€” the most effective ad format for driving direct sales. We build a structured set of campaigns including exact match keyword campaigns targeting high-intent buyers, broad match discovery campaigns to find new customers, and automatic campaigns to harvest new keyword data over time. As your account grows we add Sponsored Display and Sponsored Brands where relevant.
How do you choose which keywords to target?

We use a combination of tools and research โ€” search volume data, competitor analysis, your existing Google presence (if any), and Amazon's own suggested keywords. We prioritize keywords where purchase intent is highest, meaning people searching these terms are ready to buy, not just browsing. We then refine the list weekly as real campaign data comes in.
How often do you optimize the campaigns?

On the Starter plan, we optimize every two weeks โ€” reviewing search term reports, adjusting bids, adding negative keywords, and promoting winning keywords. On the Growth plan, we optimize weekly and also run A/B tests on ad copy and targeting. The more frequently we optimize, the faster your results improve.
Who writes the ad copy?

We do โ€” completely. We write all headlines, bullet points and targeting strategy based on your product's key differentiators and what your target customer cares most about. You'll see what we've built before it goes live and can give feedback. We don't need you to write anything.
Do you run ads on multiple products or just one?

The Starter plan covers up to 3 campaigns which is ideal for focusing on one flagship product. The Growth plan supports unlimited campaigns, so if you have multiple products you want to advertise, Growth is the right choice. We recommend starting focused on your best-performing product and expanding from there.
What is ACoS and what should mine be?

ACoS stands for Advertising Cost of Sale โ€” it's the percentage of ad revenue that goes to ad spend. For example a 25% ACoS means for every $100 in sales you spent $25 on ads. A healthy ACoS depends on your margins, but we typically target 25โ€“35% for established campaigns. In the first few weeks we accept higher ACoS while gathering data and building ranking โ€” then we tighten it down.
Pricing & Billing
How exactly does the percentage model work?

Each month we calculate the total Amazon ad revenue attributed to campaigns we manage for you. We take a percentage of that number โ€” 8% on Starter, 10% on Growth โ€” on top of the base monthly fee. So if your campaigns generate $10,000 in revenue in a month, our percentage portion on the Starter plan would be $800. The more we generate, the more we earn โ€” our incentives are fully aligned with yours.
What does the base monthly fee cover?

The base fee ($300 Starter / $600 Growth) covers our time, tools, and management work โ€” campaign setup, keyword research, optimization, reporting, and communication. It ensures we can dedicate proper resources to your account regardless of early revenue. The percentage on top is the performance incentive that grows as your results grow.
Is the ad spend budget included in the price?

No โ€” ad spend is separate and paid directly to Amazon through your Seller Central account. Our fee is for managing and optimizing the campaigns. You set the daily budget limits and Amazon charges your card directly. We recommend starting with $40โ€“70/day total across campaigns and scaling from there based on results.
How and when am I billed?

Billing is handled securely through Stripe. Your base fee is charged on the same date each month. The performance percentage is calculated at the end of each month based on Amazon's attribution data and charged in the following billing cycle. Can I cancel at any time?

On the monthly plan โ€” yes, anytime, no questions asked. Just let us know before your next billing date. On the yearly plan, you commit for a full year in exchange for the discounted rate (equivalent to 2 months free). We're confident in our results, which is why we offer the monthly cancel-anytime option โ€” we want you to stay because it's working, not because you're locked in.

How long before I see results?

Most clients see their first sales within the first week of campaigns going live. Meaningful revenue growth typically becomes clear by weeks 3โ€“4 as Amazon's algorithm starts rewarding your listing with better organic placement. The biggest gains usually happen in months 2 and 3 as we've had time to optimize based on real data. Don't expect overnight miracles โ€” expect steady, compounding growth.
Can you guarantee results?

We can't guarantee specific revenue numbers โ€” no honest agency can, because Amazon results depend on your product, price, competition, and listing quality. What we can guarantee is that we'll build the best possible campaign strategy for your product, optimize it continuously, and be fully transparent about performance. Our percentage model means we only earn more when you earn more โ€” that's the strongest performance guarantee we know of.
What kind of ROAS should I expect?

Our client average sits above 5x ROAS โ€” meaning $5 in revenue for every $1 in ad spend. Individual results vary based on product category, competition level, and price point. Some clients see 3โ€“4x, others hit 7x+. We'll give you a realistic projection after reviewing your specific product and market before you commit to anything.
How will I track my results?

You'll always have full access to your own Amazon Seller Central dashboard where all campaign data lives in real time. On top of that, we send you a clear performance report (monthly on Starter, weekly on Growth) breaking down impressions, clicks, sales, spend, ROAS, and keyword rankings. No jargon โ€” just the numbers that matter explained plainly.
Working With Us
Who will I be working with day to day?

You'll have a dedicated account manager who handles your campaigns and is your main point of contact. They'll know your product, your goals, and your results inside out. How much of my time does this require?

Very little โ€” that's the whole point. After the initial onboarding (about 30 minutes to share access and answer a few questions about your product), the ongoing time commitment is reading our performance reports and occasional replies to questions we have. We handle everything else. Most clients spend less than an hour per month on this.
What if I'm not happy with the results?

Tell us โ€” directly and honestly. We want to know. If something isn't working we want to fix it, not lose you as a client. We'll review the strategy together, make changes, and give it more time to prove itself. If after a genuine effort results still aren't where they should be, you can cancel your monthly plan with no penalty. We'd rather earn your continued business than lock you in.
Do you work with brands outside of Canada?

Yes โ€” we work with brands selling on Amazon.com (US) and Amazon.ca (Canada). If your product is listed on the US marketplace, that's where the biggest opportunity is and where we focus our campaigns. We can discuss other marketplaces (UK, Australia, etc.) on a case-by-case basis depending on your situation.
